Programming Operations
- Configure portable programming unit using either
the manual or automatic mode.
- Connect each detonator to the programming unit before
or after loading each hole. The electronics and circuits
of the detonator are checked.
- Each sequence number is sent to the detonator’s
permanent memory. In manual mode, operator also stores
the desired delay in the detonator and the programming
unit, using a keyboard pad.
- Once the whole round has been programmed, connect
all detonators to the main firing line using the
permanent connector installed on the Daveytronic 2.
- Connect the firing line to the blasting machine
and follow instructions. In automatic mode, insert
the input data card containing the blasting plan (PCMCIA
card format).
